Introduction

Ampowr provides cutting-edge battery energy storage systems as well as an Energy Management System (EMS), Ampowr Cosmos. Our holistic solution autonomously optimizes energy assets for peak performance, leveraging the synergy of advanced hardware and intelligent software.

Ampowr Cosmos can optimize energy assets based on a variety of local control strategies, e.g. for peak shaving or net zero cases. We also provide an API to Ampowr's partners, offering the ability to steer energy assets from external trigger signals, while safe-guarding the energy assets and site limitations (e.g. grid connection or energy contract constraints). With Ampowr Cosmos, it is also possible to combine multiple control strategies, which we call "Value stacking".

Ampowr offers three ways to read and steer energy assets

  1. A REST API via our Cloud entrypoint
  2. A REST API on the local network of the site
  3. A Modbus server on the local network of the site
